The active contribution to Cyprus’ collective effort to prevent waste generation is highlighted by the Life – FOODPrint campaign to raise awareness and information on the reduction of food waste.

The Life – FOODPrint team participates with its own presentation and an information booth in the informative workshop organised by the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment in the framework of the European Week for Waste Prevention.

The workshop will take place on Tuesday 23 November 2021 at the “Skali Aglantzia” Event Centre, at 9:00 – 12.30.
For the 2021 European Week has been set from November 20 to November 28, with the theme “circular societies”.
The Environment Department’s workshop is entitled “Get informed and join us in the circle”, emphasizing on actions carried out in the context of the circular economy and rational waste management.

The opening address will be given by the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Costas Kadis.

The conference is open to the public.
