OEB – FoodPrint Awards for reducing food waste
The Federation of Employers and Industrialists OEB is promoting the rewarding of businesses that are active in reducing food waste by introducing “FoodPrint” awards.
In a TV interview on 3/11/2021 on the Sigma – “Πρωτοσλιδο” programme, OEB’s Energy & Environment Officer Marios Papageorgiou explained the rationale behind the awards and the actions that can be taken by businesses to reduce food waste and develop applications of more efficient methods of utilising their raw materials.
The competition is aimed at sectors directly related to food such as the Hotel, Restaurant and Food Processing sectors.
